Karl Nastrom is a writer and storyteller.

Karl was born in Spokane, grew up in Minnesota, and now lives and writes in Seattle.

As a child, Karl was first exposed to written storytelling mostly through magazine and newspaper accounts about sports; a collection of stories about the American Civil War; and books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

As an adult, aside from five years spent teaching high school math in Mississippi and Maryland, he has made his living through writing, one way or another, first as an Air Force intelligence officer stationed overseas and then as an attorney in Alabama, California, Minnesota, and now Washington.
